Luis "Lucho" Fernando Díaz Marulanda, born on January 13, 1997, is a Colombian professional footballer currently playing as a left winger for Liverpool in the Premier League and representing the Colombia national team. His football journey began in the Colombian Second Division with Barranquilla, followed by a successful stint at Atlético Junior, where he achieved victory in Categoría Primera A, one Copa Colombia, and one Superliga Colombiana. In 2019, Porto secured his talents for a reported €7 million fee, resulting in two Primeira Liga and Taça de Portugal doubles, along with a Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. His exceptional performance, marked by 14 goals in 18 league games in the first half of the 2021–22 season, led to Liverpool signing him for €45 million (£37.5 million). In his debut season with Liverpool, Díaz played a crucial role in winning both the EFL Cup and FA Cup, earning the man of the match title in the latter final.
